If you would like additional information about our congregation just speak to one of our members, ushers, or the pastor(s).

As you enter one of the doors to the Sanctuary (usually side entrance)
you will be greeted by a member of the congregation to warmly welcome you!

Be sure and get a Sunday bulletin from one of the ushers to provide you with the order of worship and help you with when to stand, sit, sing, pray, etc! Sunday bulletins are posted on the website by Friday before the Sunday service. There is excitement and enthusiasm and a lot going on at Seven Oaks PC as we give God the Glory and serve our community! Find all the activities in the Sunday bulletin or check out our monthly newsletter here.

Children’s Worship

Children’s Worship Booklets for ages 4-12 are in the entrance (Narthex) of the church hanging on the hat rack. Please pick them up and after the service, leave them in the pew. Every Sunday, following “A Time with Children”, ages 4–4th grade can either choose to continue to worship with their families, or go to Children’s Church. Please pick up children from Building “A” following Children’s Church.

Nursery for Children

A nursery is provided in Building A just behind the Sanctuary to the left (campus map PDF) during all worship services for infants and toddlers (birth-3 years old). Generally older children (4 years to 1st grade) attend the first part of the worship service. After a brief children’s message designed especially for them, a children’s leader will escort them to Children’s Church or they may return to sit with their parents for the remainder of the service.

What We Believe

The 66 Books of the Bible are the primary source of the knowledge of God and God’s will. The Bible forms our foundation. It is the story of human interactions with God and forms the basis for knowledge and wisdom for daily living. It shows us how God intends for us to be. Sure SOPC has a mission statement and vision statement (see the home page) to guide us in today’s world, but it really boils down to a few simple guiding principles:
Love God. Love Others
“ ’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Mathew 22:37
Furthermore, we reaffirm our faith every Sunday by reading/reciting The Apostles’ Creed:
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Looking to become a believer, grow in your spirituality, or maybe just satisfy your curiosity?

In any case, we look forward to meeting you!

“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4: 15
