WORSHIP

Worship

Our congregation worships weekly at 11 am Sunday mornings. Our worship infuses a traditional format with creativity, providing a welcoming and inclusive experience that seeks to encourage, inspire and empower believers to love and serve Jesus Christ.  Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month.

Children’s Worship

Every Sunday following “CHILDREN’S MESSAGE”, ages 4–5th grade can either choose to continue to worship with their families, or go to the children’s corner in the sanctuary. The Children’s Corner is an area within the sanctuary that allows children to experience the worship service, but also provides an outlet to channel their energy into quiet activities during the service.  Children’s Worship Booklets for ages 4-12 are in the Narthex.

MUSIC MINISTRIES

We Sing Unto The Lord! Chancel Choir

Our choir is for adults, young and old! The Chancel Choir has a tradition of musical excellence. Members enthusiastically share their faith through leading the congregation in hymn singing.  Due to COVID restrictions, we meet about a half hour before the start of the service to prepare our hearts and voices for leading worship.  We are looking forward to the day when we can once again sing the full range of our repertoire.

We Ring for JOY! Covenant Ringers

This youth and adult handbell group rings on a five octave set of English Handbells and a three octave set of Choirchimes. They ring with joy to celebrate the covenant of God’s love and grace. These ringers provide special music for worship throughout the year. They have also performed yearly at the South Carolina Governor’s Treelighting Ceremony. Rehearsals are Sundays following the worship service.

We Sound The Trumpet! Instrumental Soloists & Ensembles

Various artists within our congregation and guests from the surrounding musical community provide music at special times throughout the church year. Their talents enrich our worship immensely.
